Yesterday, I had the opportunity to participate in a OMH’s Statewide Town Hall to talk about the needs of girls at risk of self-harm and suicide.

Today, my heart belongs to every young girl who has felt persistently sad and contemplated suicide.   

When my daughter was 13, I got a call from her school that forever changed our lives. Our daughter’s best friend had informed a teacher about her intricate plan to end her life.
